2007 Festival Painting



     Inaugual Oklahoma Flute Festival painting is designed and painted by Mickel Yantz of LogJaM Arts.  The poster contains several references influenced by Southeastern Mississippian designs, such as the woodpecker motif found on shell gorgets over 1000 years old, and pottery pattern paddle designs (carved wooden paddles with various designs used as a stamp on a clay pots) over 1900 years old, used by tribes of the Southeastern U.S.  The flutes are incorporated in the knot motif. This painting design will be available on t-shirts, flutiebags, and buttons. Used with Permission.
